Red Mustang
While completing my research theme "The Horse" for my City & Guilds Diploma course, I fell in love with Franz Marc's horse paintings. Red Mustang has been inspired by these paintings.

Mustangs are on the move. This is my original design, the painted horses and transparencies were completed with dispersed dye prints. The quilting included various free motion quilting motifs with the Red Mustang being hand quilted to show the muscle contours. RED MUSTANG is a 38" by 30" contemporary wall hanging, can you feel the horsepower.
