In The Spring

For this contemporary original design, lovely crazy pieced Iris and various hand dyed
spring greens set the mood and depict the wonderful vibrant multi colors of spring.
I used various multimedia techniques including hand dyed, discharged, overdyed plus commercial fabric. Lettering was discharged. Iris and stems were appliquéd. Machine crazy stitches complete the Iris with unmarked free motion machine stitching completes the quilting. This piece measures 42" wide by 62 1/2".
